Its January and now the Christmas and New Year excess of food and drink has finished I decided to start the Fitness and Health kick in earnest.

So after the first week I have lost a whole Kilo in weight, so happy with this. So what I have done so far? The plan is to start slow. not to make any dramatic changes after all the plan is to makes live changes in small steps, this needs to be sustainable not just a quick fix!

The main change this week has been to only eat 3 times a day. This has been a big change for me, as beforehand I tended to snack all day long. I have a light breakfast at around 10 am, lunch at 2 pm and dinner around 7.30 pm and that’s it. If I feel hungry between meals I just drink water and the hunger pain soon goes.

Although this is a fairly small change I’m really pleased with the weight loss for week one, a real boost and definitely helps with the motivation. Exercise wise this week, I’ve only manged one short 2 Km run and daily Plank exercises for around 30 secs.
